Tapeboard Pro is a real-time stock scanner that filters the entire equity universe against price, volume, float, and news conditions and pushes matches to a trader as they occur. HOW TO USE

Running a Preset Scan

  1. Open the Scanner tab from the main navigation bar.
  2. Select a preset from the Preset Library panel on the left sidebar.
  3. Click Run Scan to activate real-time streaming for that filter set.
  4. Alerts appear in the Results Feed as conditions are met in the live market.

Building a Custom Scan

  1. Select New Scan from the Scanner tab.
  2. Use the Natural-Language Input field to describe your criteria in plain language.
    Example: stocks up more than 8% on at least 2x average volume with float under 20M
  3. Tapeboard Pro parses the input and generates a structured filter set.
  4. Review the generated filters in the Filter Chain panel and adjust thresholds as needed.
  5. Click Save and Stream to activate the scan and add it to your preset library.

Reviewing Level 2 Data After an Alert

  1. Click any ticker in the Results Feed.
  2. The Depth of Book panel opens automatically to the right.
  3. The bid-ask stack reflects live quotes at the moment of interaction.

Note

Level 2 data loads immediately on alert click. No secondary navigation step is required.

Filtering by Float

  1. In the Filter Chain panel, locate the Float row.
  2. Set the Maximum Float value in millions using the numeric input.
  3. Combine with a Relative Volume minimum to isolate high-activity low-float names.
