§04 CALENDAR

OVERVIEW

The Calendar consolidates four event streams onto one view — earnings, economic releases, IPOs, and dividends. Weekly view is the default; monthly grid is Pro+. In the weekly view, each weekday card lists the companies reporting that day, split into Before Open and After Close buckets, each row showing ticker, company name, and logo — you read who reports without clicking in. Arrow keys navigate days, W / M toggle view mode. The AI Earnings Preview button (Pro+) generates a watchlist-scoped read of the upcoming reports.

WHAT IT IS

Four event streams load together on every range change — earnings, IPOs, economic releases, and dividends. Range is the visible week (default) or month (Pro+). For the economic stream, today's releases show with actuals while the rest of the week shows scheduled events without actuals yet. In the weekly view each weekday card renders the day's earnings inline — a Before Open group and an After Close group, each company a row with ticker, name, and logo — so the card itself answers "who reports Thursday?" without a click. Monthly view keeps the compact size-graded dots for density at a glance.

Earnings — companies reporting that day, bucketed into Before Open (BMO) and After Close (AMC) groups. Each row shows ticker, company name, and logo. EPS and revenue estimates appear before the report; actuals populate once released.

Economic — scheduled macro releases with event name, country, time (ET), and impact rating. Today's events show actuals; future events show estimates only.

Shortcut: to step day, W for weekly view, M for monthly view

HOW TO USE

  1. Open /calendar. The week containing the next weekday loads, with today selected (Mon–Fri only; weekends bounce to the next Monday).

  2. Read the weekday cards in the weekly view. Each card lists the day's earnings inline, split into a Before Open group and an After Close group; each company shows its ticker, name, and logo. Economic, IPO, and dividend events are flagged on the card with colored dots — yellow = earnings, blue = economic, green = IPO, purple = dividend.

  3. Click a company row in a weekday card to jump straight to /research/<TICKER>, or click the day card (or press / ) to load that full day's events — earnings, economic, IPOs, dividends — in the right panel. The selected day highlights with a green border.

  4. The right panel breaks into four collapsible sectionsEARNINGS, ECONOMIC, IPOS, DIVIDENDS. Click any section header to collapse / expand.

    • Earnings row shows ticker, company, BMO (Before Market Open) / AMC (After Market Close), EPS estimate vs. actual (if reported), revenue estimate vs. actual, fiscal quarter. Click a row to jump to /research/<TICKER>.
    • Economic row shows event name, country (2-letter), time (ET), impact (1–3 dots), actual / estimate / previous. Today's events show actuals; future events show estimates only.
    • IPOs (Pro+) shows ticker, company, expected date, price range, share count, exchange.
    • Dividends (Pro+) shows ticker, ex-date, payment date, amount per share, yield.
  5. Switch to Monthly view (Pro+) by clicking MONTHLY or pressing M. The grid shows the whole month with colored-dot density per day; the inline Before Open / After Close company lists are a weekly-view feature, so click a day in the month grid to see the companies.

  6. Click [ EARNINGS_PREVIEW ] top right (Pro+) to fire the AI workflow. It scopes to your active watchlist if you have one, otherwise runs market-wide. The result renders in a card below the toolbar.

Tip

Earnings season workflow: keep /calendar open on a second monitor in weekly view. Colored dots let you spot heavy reporting days instantly; click into any weekday card to confirm before/after market timing for your watchlist symbols.

Tip

Sunday night planning: switch to monthly view, scan for the week ahead's FOMC, CPI, PPI, and NFP dates before the market opens Monday.
