§09 SEASONALITY¶

Seasonality Menu¶
The Seasonality menu is a macro-analysis tool designed to evaluate the historical, recurring performance trends of specific financial assets over set periods.
Navigation Context¶
The Seasonality tool is located in the left-hand navigation sidebar under the MACRO category, positioned alongside other macroeconomic dashboards such as Economic, Forex, Crypto, Bonds, Commodities, and Calendar.
Interface & Controls¶
The top control bar provides the necessary inputs to query historical seasonal data:
- Asset Input Field: A text box allowing users to input the ticker symbol of the desired asset or index (e.g.,
SPY). - Load Button (
[ LOAD ]): Executes the query to fetch and display the seasonal data for the specified asset. - Timeframe Toggles: Two quick-select buttons used to define the historical look-back period for the seasonality calculation:
5Y(5-Year Historical Data)10Y(10-Year Historical Data)
Available Data Views¶
Based on the header breadcrumbs (monthly_returns • seasonal_path), the tool is divided into specific analytical views:
- Monthly Returns: Likely displays the average historical performance of the asset broken down by calendar month.
- Seasonal Path: Likely provides a charted trajectory showing the asset's typical price action across a standard calendar year based on historical averages.
